FCCISL launches B2B OMS & ESIS

The Federation of Chambers of Commerce & Industry of Sri Lanka launched the Back to Business (B2B) Online Management System (OMS) & Enterprise Support Information System (ESIS) a web portal that provides beneficiary information to International Non-Governmental organizations involved in economic development in Sri Lanka.

The system was conceptualized, designed & implemented by Simula Corp. The CTO of Simula Corp Vijitha Gangodavila stated that the project was delivered under a very tight time budget as FCCISL had committed a deadline to the INGO community. The project was launched on 20th of April by the ambassador of Netherlands one of the key funding partners of FCCISL.

The OMS is a management information and project monitoring system that can be accessed by the regional partners of FCCISL to view and monitor various projects under the B2B project.

Flex Engineering awards contract to Simula Corp

Flex Engineering Sri Lanka’s leading steam generation equipment installer awarded its CRM application implementation to Simula Corp. The project estimated to be completed by end June 2006 will provide Flex Engineering complete control of their existing customer base with management information that will enhance their current service levels. Managing Director of Flex Engineering Mr. Priyantha Kapuwatte commended the professional approach and the methodology Simula Corp adopted in its software development and implementation.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs launch website for      Sethusamudram Ship Channel Project

Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with Simula Corp launched a resource website for the Sethusamudram Ship Channel project currently being constructed by India. The website is a comprehensive resource base for the stakeholders of the project with different study groups providing technical information on the economic, social, and environmental impact the Sethusamudram Ship Channel will have on Sri Lanka.
